have peeled, hand hewn, and
Laminated logs in many sizes and profiles.
Framed homes specializing in Fold Form BLOCKS. THOROUGH DRYNESS. All natural kiln dried logs claim at best a 19% moisture content. The laminated log averages 12% more in line with equilibrium percentage in the U.S. At equilibrium the log will cease shrinking, warping, and cracking.

FULL WALL LENGTHS. All manufactured logs rarely exceed 12 feet in length requiring numerous "but" joints in a home. With the ability to manufacture 100 feet in length, the laminated log assures structural integrity as well as tightness. SPECIES FLEXIBILITY. Using the laminate process, the ability to use different species of wood for the interior and exterior has governed a high degree of interest to the discriminating builder. DELIVERY LEAD TIME. With a manufacturing based production, the ability to manufacture a custom designed home within hours allows the lead time of delivery to be cut down to within three-four weeks. The industry average in delivering a log home is usually six to eight weeks.

STRUCTURAL SUPERIORITY. The use of laminated timbers creates a structural stability that far exceeds that of solid timbers. Though this fact is not known by among the typical customer, anyone associated with the building industry realizes this advantage. MAINTENANCE REDUCTION. With the elimination of cracking, shrinking, and warping, the necessity of constantly maintaining a sealant/preservative on the outside of the structure is significantly reduced. Maintenance is needed only with the natural weathering of the wood. Natural log homes require short intervals between maintenance to assure that protection is provided in new cracks. QUALITY/ENGINEERING STANDARDS-DS. With the use of a process that can be controlled through a national inspection organization known as the American Institute of Timber Construction (AITC), the laminated log is manufactured under quality standards that far exceed any known log grading system. This is especially significant in the commercial market since engineering of logs for use in projects is often difficult if not impossible.
